The Spring Valley Castle is a country home located in Spring Valley above and southeast of Glenwood Springs itself. The elevation is about 7000 ft. and we are at the north end of Spring Valley on the flank of Lookout mountain that looks down into Glenwood and Glenwood Canyon. From our location, we have a splendid view from Storm King mountain to McClure Pass, around to Mt. Sopris and down the Elk range to Aspen. There are ranches surrounding us and wildlife is seen all about. At night, the Milky Way of stars is the sky spectacle. And Glenwood, with its' world famous Hot Spring Pool, is within an hour's drive of Aspen, Redstone, Marble, Rifle, Eagle and Vail.

Between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., a full Family Style breakfast is served in the Main House and we try to serve everyone at one time; but, we can adjust for Guest's schedules. There are 5 acres to enjoy with wild flowers and gardens, horseshoe pit, badminton, and croquet. We have satellite T.V., pool table, a small library of books, magazines, movie videos, and some collectable antiques to enjoy. Whether you are on the "go" for skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, golfing, (just about anything with an "ing" on it) or want to stay around and enjoy the Castle, you can do it here in Glenwood.

Road Map
We DO NOT recommend the route from Holy Cross Energy in bad weather or winter.
It is one lane (on a shelf) and steep for first mile .
Do not use MAPQUEST or Expedia directions (particularly for Cottonwood Pass as Cottonwood Pass is a 4-wheel Route)!
